For the month of February, we partnered with Hands on Hartford to support their Nutrition Backpack program.
This program serves as an extension to provide weekend meals to 230 children.
We filled backpacks with kid-friendly foods that will be distributed weekly to elementary school students in the greater Hartford region.
ebbo participated in this program in 2016 and filled 31 backpacks, so we had a record to beat!
Equipped with a list of approved healthy foods, the team hit the grocery stores and filled up 40 backpacks (totaling 705 pounds of food)!
We talk a lot about loyalty at ebbo as it takes place between brands and consumers, but we can’t forget what that means in the larger picture.
